On November 12th, Nexedi GmbH and our host, Fraunhofer IAO, will organise in Stuttgart a series of presentations and discussions around latest success cases, technologies and research projects focusing on the effective implementation of "Industry 4.0" using Open Source / Free Software developed in Europe and Japan by Nexedi Group and its partners: MariaDBLinutronix, Olimex, Slowtec.

This meetup is targeted at companies interested in how to deploy effective "Industry 4.0" solutions based on simple and reliable architectures being used in production for more than 10 years, as well as companies looking for solutions maintainable in the long term through direct contact with core developers from Europe and Japan. It is also an event for companies curious to learn more about the potential of "Industry 4.0" and what it could bring to their business model.

Transport

From the airport: Coming by car/taxi takes 15 minutes. Coming by S-bahn lasts 30 minutes: from the airport, take the line S2 or S3 and stop at Universität station; then walk for 10 minutes.

From the Stuttgart Central Station: Coming by car/taxi takes 15-20 minutes. Coming by S-bahn lasts 20 minutes: from Hauptbahnhof Stuttgart station, take the line S2 or S3 and stop at Universität station too; then walk 10 minutes.

Hotel/Housing

If a place to stay is needed, the two closest hotels to Frauhnofer IAO are Romerhof and Campus.guest. Breakfast and Wifi are included, and the prices are between 70 and 80 euros per night.
